Food Metal
Food Metal is a studio-only project that I created in May-June 2004. At that time, I was more or less between bands and not really sure what to do. So, I set out a challenge for myself: write and record an album of metal songs about food in one month\'s time. It was originally just intended as a musical exercise; a way to improve my songwriting, recording, and guitar skills; and to have some fun; but it turned into a pretty cool album! It exceeded all of my expectations. Partway through, I decided to get some of my talented friends involved to help with vocals and guitar, and they made the project all that much better and that much more fun.
