may 2006-mike meets johanna and the band begins the same night, we play burning to burn on haight street in san francisco, make 5 bucks from a passer by and sleep in the car. this marks the beginning of tell the truth, the mostly acoustic duo of lovers mike and johanna, staying in san francisco for the entire summer of 06, mike and johanna, or mojo move to portland, oregon to start tell the truth officially with bass player jason charles franklin (from lavabone, penfifteen, myopia) after two four song demos, franklin splits and leaves the duo back to its core, street acoustic music. mike and johanna release their debut EP, \"fleeting\" on april 21st, 2007 at a mostly empty club in portland, oregon called \"the know\". this same night they move into \"the window room\"... a house/venue that housed four shows of great importance in the basement to tell the truth and many fans in the portland region. the second show of these was the wedding of mike and johanna and was the apex of mojo\'s portland experience. june 23rd, 2007.
since then tell the truth has relocated to israel to record their upcoming full length that had begun production way back in 2001 just before mike joined clearing autumn skies, and is related thematically to the song,\"charles forensic.\" in fact this is the complete story of charles forensic.
