It all started I believe around February, when Chris
and Thomas wanted to start a band together. playing
the most ridiculous, fast, and heavy music in the
area. They picked up bassist Ghostbean and tried out a
few practices. Nothing worked out they called up
bassist Ryan to try out a few times. never having a
drummer they practiced only a few times. Not finding a
drummer Ryan took over as drummer leaving Chris to
sing, and Thomas to play guitar. After a long time of
only a handfull of practicing they got thier first
show Agust 8, 2000 at the Uptown Theatre with Spooky
Bonus, Atarighettoblast, Afterthough, Part of thier
Plan and Fevered Pitch. After much debate on who was
accually going to play drums and who would play bass
Ryan filled the drum spot and Rory filled the bass
spot, toby had also fit in on a second vocalist. The
show blistered full volume drums guitar bass and
vocals, which left the audience plugging thier ears
for the sake of ever hearing again. The set consisted
of short sparatic one foot blast/grind beats in the
vein of Anal Cunt, and older style At the Gates. After
the show the band went through many many break ups,
several demos (unreleased and lost). finally getting
thier act together enough to play 15 other shows in
modesto, ceres, campbell, berkley, napa, vallejo, and
Benicia. they finally recorded a self titled 10 song
EP with the help of Ken Kirk, running around 8
minutes. Chris along the while had plans on quitting
the band, stubborn and music crazed the band went on
and Chris still sang seldemly. After the final show
july 16 at the campbell gaslighter the band decided to
call it quits due to musical differences. Thomas went
on to play with chris in other bands and ryan and toby
were left bandless. after a few months they asked
Taylor to play guitar, and of course he agreed (poor
guy) the band practiced only three times and had 17
songs well rehearsed, they called Chris back up and
asked him to sing again. He agreed and only came once
to hear and say we sounded unprofessional and
unpracticed. so ADM went on with toby on his drum
machine making synth sounds, Taylor on guitar and Ryan
on drums. finally they came up with the question of a
bassist, the band doing fine being drum and guitar
decided they needed a heavier end to the trio. Rory
was the bassist. now a quartet, ADM has been
practicing on a regular bassis playing short music as
seriously unserious as ever. Now with 20 songs under
thier belt they are going into the studio to record
the first full length album.
