X-Rated Porno Machine has been together for three years playing various venues, from the Reno Convention Center, Carmel Valley Annual Pig Roast, The Pound SF, Bourbon Street, Time Out, Club 4- San Jose, T’s Bikini Bar, Jim Dandy’s, The Grant and Green, Club Octane and several house parties and private events. The band has played every kind of venue from large clubs to hole-in-the wall bars all over the San Francisco Bay Area, East Bay, Central Valley and the Coast. They have opened for large name acts such as LA Guns and Modern English. They have had great success in competitions such as ‘Battle for Ozzfest’ (http://www.ozzfest.com/timages/page/media/LA-Auditions.mov) and have been attributed with one of the funniest stage shows in the local scene by Zakk Tyler with KSJO. They have sold approximately 100 copies of their self produced full length album ‘Welcome to the Machine’ and 50 copies of their 5 song EP, they also just recently started merchandising X-Rated Porno Machine gear.
Clarice Gjers - Vocals: Started singing professionally as a solo artist in 1994, in many different genres. She formed X-Rated Porno Machine in 2002. Her influences are Primus, System of a Down, Pennywise, Garrison Starr, Butt Trumpets and 60's soul.
Angela Castro - Vocals: Began her career as a youngster in various talent shows, musicals and singing competitions. She joined X-Rated Porno Machine in 2004. She is musically influenced by Staind, Nirvana, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, System of a Down and R&B.
Aaron McCoy - Guitars: Joined his first band 'the Cause' 1986-1986. Following that he was in a band 'Hydra' from 1986-1995, then joined 'Resin Nation' from 1995-1996. His next project was 'Relapse' from 2000-2002. After the group disbanded he joined X-Rated Porno Machine in 2002. His musical influences are Randy Rhoads, Eddie Van Halen, Dimebag Darrell, Jimi Hendrix, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Metallica.
Christopher Cullen - Bass Guitar: Started his professional career playing in a band called 'M.U.F.R.Y.S.' from 1994-1996. He then joined 'Blooz Katz' 1996-1997, after which came 'Habitat' 1997-1998. His next venture was 'Company Van' 1998-1999 then 'Infinities End' 2000-2001, from there he joined 'Eight13' 2001-2002. His next step was joining 'X-Rated Porno Machine' in 2002. His musical influences are Primus, Sublime, Mudvayne and Stu Hamm.
Mark Balesteri - Drums: Has been a part of the following bands 'C.I.A.', 'Defacto', 'Kent State', 'I.C.O.E.', 'M.P.A.A.', 'Lovers and Strangers', 'Third Eye', 'Relapse' and joined the 'X-Rated Porno Machine' in 2002. His musical influences are Primus, Tool, Staind, Metallica and Alice in Chains.
