Listen Now Daughter 0 MB Blownload is all the things you wish you could say out loud but don't for fear of the consequences. Blownload is the list of guttural, dirty, disgusting and sometimes hilarious bits of life that clog up your verbal, mental, emotional and sexual arteries until a rupture is imminent. Blownload is a full, unadulterated, unedited, raw and impulsive form of free expression without shame, embarrassment or excuses. Feeling that the world is quite possibly in its most boring, stagnant and sickening musical lull of all times, the members of Blownload have taken it upon themselves to throw some Tabasco into the jock-strap of the music industry and get things jumping once again.
Bold? That’s too small a word.
New? Like a fresh diaper!
Crass? Fuck yes, and fuck you if you don’t like it!
Earth shattering? Quite possibly.
Sexist? Everything-ist.
Arrogant? Like the country that they come from!
Blownload promises to live up to their name- something parents will wonder if they should let their kids say. Grinding, biting guitars; hard, head-thumping drumming; bass with balls of iron; vocal styles that run the gamut from Cole Porter to Shaggy to Neurosis in your most vivid nightmares, Blownload is System of a Down meets Bloodhound Gang meets Shabba Ranks meets Mindless Self Indulgence meets Ministry meets Ethel Merman in a Mexican brothel on The Day of the Dead -- twisted, fucked up, vulgar and rude.
What of it?
Blownload is:
Erie Loch - vocals
David H - guitar
Knuckles - bass
Reed - drums

Listen Now The Sick Rose 0 MB Definitely one of the stronger sounds in the South Bay, Broken Vision, formed in 1997, produced a heavy wall of sound, metal meets hardcore edge that was quite popular and drew quite a bit of attention with every passing show. Featuring, at one time or another, vocalist Greg Rabiroff, guitarist Keven Tecon, guitarist Brian Blake, bassist Dave Robertson and drummer Josh Graser, the band had their sights set on a disc release in 2000, but fell victim to band problems by the end of the year. Come early 2001, several members of the once prominent act regrouped and formed a brand new act entitled Jada Morning while Robertson surfaced briefly for South Bay act Ground before eventually slipping away from the scene altogether.

Listen Now Consequence of Wealth 0 MB Careworn, who had a long history, has become something of a cult favorite deep in the South Bay Underground as this band would spawn so many different acts and careers down the road. Featuring, during their core solid line-up days, guitarist Mike Merino, guitarist Vafa Mottahedin, drummer Erick Caceres, bassist Dan Rapoport, and vocalist Matt Grant, Careworn utilized a thrash based, mostly old school approach to the metal. While rough recordings from the band floated around the circuit, no official release ever really hit the street as the band would undergo some serious changes. Initially, the band parted ways with Grant with Merino handling vocals. Then Mottahedin left the group and the sound direction was shifted completely, moving in a more modified hardcore mature direction. Drummer Erick Caceres would eventually leave the band and the name was changed to the group known as Sora which went on to include much different members. One of the notables to come out of this group was Merino who would go on to land the guitarist job in the popular East Bay group Unjust.

Listen Now My Dying Day 0 MB Circle Of 5ths is:
Steve Mahoney - Vocals/Guitar
Mike McNellis - Bass/Vocals
Cameron Ellis - Drums
Mike Weber - Guitar
This band has come together out of the musicians desires to do something different. Four individuals with a common goal; to erase the lines between musical genres. A potent mixture of Metal, Rock, Funk, Soul, complex melodies and simple harmonies resulting in one of the most unique sounds in the music scene today.
Their sound was once described as: "Tool meets incubus at a BBQ thrown by Sevendust w/ special guest cook Godsmack. Machine Head is brining the drinks, and snacks provided by Disturbed"
Circle Of 5ths has become one of Sacramento's most popular hard rock acts. They have opened for many national acts and headlined shows all over Northern California and Nevada. The song "My Dying Day" is included on KRXQ 98 Rock "Sacramento Rocks Volume XI", and they were the "Artist of the Month" in August and played the California State Fair as part of the release promotion. The song "Fade Away" was the lead off track on "Sacramento Rocks Volume X". "My Dying Day", "Fade Away" and "This Time" are getting some good spins on college radio nationwide, and specialty shows worldwide, and their music is used for advertising campaigns locally and nationally.
KWOD 106.5 (Sacramento) disc jockey Marco Collins recently compared the band to both Tool, and A Perfect Circle. Stating "this is just flat out good hard rock music". Circle Of 5ths has released 3 CD's to rave reviews world wide. The new CD; "ONE" was produced by Pat Olguin (Wyclef Jean, Black Eyed Peas, Papa Roach).
The band are currently sponsored by Jagermeister alcohol company, Schecter Guitars, Dunlop Products, and Basson Cabinets.

Listen Now Say It Again 0 MB Therapy. Cycle's effect on people expressed in a single word. With the flurry of emotions sent through each song, Cycle's music does not simply let you relate to it; it heals.
With their strong and solid rock sound, Cycle is poised to really evolve into something amazing and are something that must be seen to be believed. The band is comprised many different individuals with different tastes and interests, providing a well-rounded sound, with Will providing an awesome base and Devo complimenting him by carrying a heavy, low end. Augy and DJ top it off with Augy's pioneer guitar playing and DJ's melodic crooning, enveloping the audience in a wall of emotion.
The band had its rather humble beginnings in Cupertino, CA, when Augy met DJ by chance and decided to take a gamble and form a musical venture. Augy introduced DJ to Al, whom he requested to provide bass for the project. The eventually entered the studio with three songs. Still unnamed, the recording engineer mentioned that they were his five-thirty. And the name stuck, Five:Thirty. They recorded three songs, "Fallen", "Empty", and "Torn", with Augy playing both guitar and drums due to the absence of a formal drummer. It wasn't soon thereafter that that absence would no longer be a problem. Augy, DJ, and Al came upon Will, who could not only drum, but know what he was drumming. The group clicked, and wrote many new numbers, each more complex than the last. Then, Al announced his withdrawl from the band due to creative differences and a loss of interest in it. He however soon returned, much to the delight of the rest of the band and they ventured into the studio to once again record. This time, they brought along with them, another three songs: "Pieces", "Heal", and "Teenage Lullaby". Upon the completion of the recording, they quickly renamed themselves Cycle, over the concept of life cycles. The recording itself was titled Demonstration.
Through all of this, the band gained a level of comfort with themselves, which was lost when Al and the band went their seperate ways. This time for good. On this note, the band slowed down drastically, but grew a lot more musically. Cycle's newer material was powerful and drastically more refined than previously. There search for a bassist also ended, whereupon, Devo, formerly of the now-defunt local band, Ammo, picked up his bass and provided the low end for the band. They will soon enter the studio once more to record and will make their presence known on the local scene.

Listen Now Disgrace 0 MB Probably one of the most notorious bands in the East Bay, DWB (which was rumored to stand for many different things) performed an extremely heavy, dirty kind of gutter metal where the licks were sharp and the lyrics were sometimes sharper. Featuring, at one time or another, guitarist Bryan Patterson, bassist Chris Carlos, entertaining guitarist / vocalist Lloyd Cline, and the heavy talent of John Riggs, the band officially released one self-titled EP which included some of their more popular tunes. For a time, controversy followed this band pretty closely as some rowdy shows banned the group from performing at selected East Bay venues. After a long ride, the group eventually faded into history with each of the members moving on, most notably drummer John Riggs who found himself in a few different bands including the popular G2K.

Listen Now Back Up on the Cross 0 MB see what had happend was...
Zo and da Pimp came from a place far to the east called Pitt. PA. to make a new noise influenced by a walk in the sun and a conversation with snakes, mocking birds and one sparrow. Lo and behold when they got out west who did they find, none other Jesus sitting on a fucking pyramid. They smoke, they drink, they drank, they drank and they drank and it was good. Then along came a lost righteous Shepard with one lamb and a deaf goat, who had a sound that needed manipulation and definition, and hence forth he was known as brotha Tyler. They climbed Mt. Olympus, and where asked a certain question. They answered by making a noise, which was the creation of a mother fucker, who was known as Damhucka.

The band was heading towards another release when the group ended their run. The most notable member to come out of this group was guitarist Chris State who would go on to perform in the hardcore / metalcore act Something Must Die.

Listen Now No Slave 0 MB Davidian is an aggressive metal band from Sacramento, CA. Founded by Curtis Lancaster(guitar), Nick Hamilton(bass) and Gavin Weyant(vocals) in 1997. After several years of rehearsal and refinement Davidian hit the stages of Northern California with a live show that enraged fans, destroyed venues and spit on the face of the weak minded. Every song, every word rotting with spite and vengeance combined with a pummeling wall of insane rhythms and a relentless drum attack drawing blood, sweat and revelations from the crowd "this is the new school of California thrash". And now after the addition of the strong and the extraction of the weak, Davidian has been refueled by drummer Dennis Perez and Shannon Teel on electronics. The shows have become more rabid, more fierce, detailed by a swelling madness that overcomes the crowd adding more fuel to the fire in Davidian...we want nothing more than to see the sickness in your eyes , the hatred in your screams and the power in your message. With that we will overcome, with that we will demand respect. We will survive the parents that torture, the neighbors that abuse and the disease that corrodes this paradise. Strength breeds strength...save yourself.

Listen Now Beyond Recognition 0 MB In 1989 guitarist Sean Hugunin and drummer Brad Roberts came together to form the band, "Deities." For seven years, the to young musicians have been composing original songs and performing their style of heavy, aggressive music for fans in their home area, the San Francisco Bay Area. In 1993 the band entered the studio to record their first demo tape titled "Symptoms of Insanity." Deities went through a great transformation in the middle of 1994. After going through several different bass players and guitarists, the band finally secured a serious line up with bassist Skot Leach and guitarist John Soby. Also, the vocal duties, once performed by guitarist Sean Hugunin, were passed on to the charismatic and more appropriate front man, John Soby. This allowed Sean to concentrate more on his guitar playing. At the end of 1995, Deities once again entered the studio to record their second demo, "Icon."
Unfortunately, a short time after "Icon" was released, the band broke up. Like most breakups, the band split due to some creative difference, some personal differences, and the usual cliché band problems. Though the band did break up, they remained friends and four years new things are stirring up... Keep your eye on http://www.deitiesmusic.com.
