Listen Now Face the Embrace 0 MB Out of the Sacramento region, Girth had a rather long run in the underground, their career spanning many live shows and an EP recording, of which the trademark tune 'Death of the Camel Toed Yoda' was included. Featuring, at the very end, drummer Mark, guitarist Mike, bassist Elias Longoria, guitarist Scoobie and the wild frontman Jude Croxford, Girth produced a heavy, almost death laden pulse with Croxford's operatic turned heavy growl vocals.
By the time mid-2001 rolled around, another Sacramento band, The Council, was in search of a bass guitarist. Girth's guitarist, Scoobie, performed a few shows with the band and eventual departed Girth to join The Council full time. Soon after, Girth dissolved. In October 2001, Allen and Longoria were picked up by Planet X as their newest members.

Listen Now Subconscious Eats Away 0 MB Together since August 2002, Happy Ending is a hardcore metal band from Northern California’s Bay Area. Comprised of musicians from various other groups from the scene, Kenneth Moore, Rudy Ponce, Lenny Heredia, Ron Cruz and Erick Caceres are Happy Ending. While still in their early stages as a band, Happy Ending has already generated quite a buzz in the local Bay Area music scene. With a unique sound drawn from many influences, Happy Ending’s style of in-your-face aggression blurs
the boundary between the underground and mainstream scenes with Moore’s vocals ranging from beautiful melodies easily heard on the radio to a hardcore scream no one can top.
Happy Ending is a force to be reckoned with, living purely on the adrenaline they get from seeing their fans screaming their lyrics each show at a time.

Listen Now 3 AM 0 MB Originally forming in Titusville, NJ circa 1997, Hitch uprooted their act and headed out West, landing smack dab in the middle of the NorCal Underground Scene. Featuring vocalist/guitarist dB and bassist Fü, guitarist
Fred Isaacs and drummer/vocalist Chris Amsler, Hitch featured a punk type driven higher ending sound that drove into some heavier tracks at times, keeping to the dynamics of the tune. One of the band's releases included the four banger "Los Cojones Del Toro Rojo" which offered the platter 3 AM, one of the band's more recognized tunes. In early September of 2000, after one
final show in Concord, the SF-based quartet decided to end their run as a band and officially part ways. A collaboration with Dementia's guitarist Amp Gouvea and dB have surfaced in 2001 as the band Phrenik.

Listen Now On Through the Dark 0 MB Having come together in 1993 and performing for the better half of the 1990’s, the thrash based, somewhat metalcore sound of South Bay act Inextremus certainly attained a solid level of popularity through their time together. Featuring, at one time or another, guitarist Rick Reynolds, guitarist Kevin Flaharty, bassist Chris Yadegar, drummer Jeremy Avra, and vocalist Bryan Lopez, the band released several EP’s as well as a disc entitled “On Through The Dark” which offered some of the band’s strongest material. Come the early part of 2001, the band basically dissolved and faded into the shadows.

Listen Now Analect 0 MB Hailing from the Pleasanton region and coming together in the Summer of 1999, this five piece band had a solid unit ready to go except for the one crucial component: the vocalist. After finally settling on Dren Ibrani to be
the frontman, drummer Andrew Soulé, bassist Jason Anaya, guitarist Shaun McInnis, guitarist Mike Kilun all came together and began to hit out on the scene performing at shows, most notably their rather mpressive appearance at the November 2000 Breach CD Release show in Concord. In April of 2001, the band parted ways with Kilun, causing the remaining members to take
inventory with the band's future. The smooth turned aggressive sound of Inviktus formally came apart in April 2001, with the remaining members set to appear in a future project.

Listen Now Guilt 0 MB Quo Vatis -- where are we going?
Kwovadis -- metal
This is only the beginning of the meaning. To truly understand where they are going, you have to see the live show. Make no mistake, these guys are far from lost. With everybody jumping on the preconceived notions of what metal used to be, it's great to see that a band is redefining notions of what metal should be. Highly evolved, electrically charged, unpredictable, and always metal.
Kwovadis is:
Josh Reed - Drums
Jason Bell - Bass
Alfred Gonzales - Guitar
Todd Cakus - Vocals

Listen Now RNA 0 MB Last Act of Man has disbanded as of February 2005.
Formed in late December 2003, Last Act of Man is the newest and heaviest band to emerge from the smothering fog of California's Central Coast.
The band got together with the intention of bringing something new to the Doom and Stoner Rock genres. With a collective love of bands like Neurosis - High on Fire - EyeHateGod - Mastodon - Sleep & Bongzilla LAOM has thus far shaped it's burgeoning sound while maintaining a fierce originality by infusing each member's wide range of individual influences running the gamut of indie rock, punk and metal. LAOM is sometimes slow, sometimes fast but always heavy.
Having already released a self produced demo and played numerous shows the band has large plans for the future including touring and a full length album, and to this end seek label support.
Featuring:
Matt Gomes - Bass, Vocals (Uzi Suicide, Abysmal Terror, ex - Darvon Complex)
Nic Beatty - Guitar, Vocals (ex - Me vs. Everybody, Darvon Complex)
James Brian - Drums (ex - the Subscription, time spent driving, Darvon Complex)

Listen Now Liquid Amber 0 MB The Sacramento foursome Last Day King (LDK) combines compelling music with a distinctive live show. Formed in early 1997 by guitarist Jeff Matej and vocalist Wayne Maki, the band has evolved a new edge of intensity with the recent overhaul of its rhythm section. Bassist James Geary (fresh from Sypher) brings his own slap-happy, finger-snapping bass lines to the band, while drummer Danny Hamilton (Foil, Coitus) supports the band with his hard-hitting, pounding rhythms. Added to this are the haunting guitar riffs spun by Jeff and the emotional, high-impact vocals of Wayne. This unique combination forms the powerful and polished sound of LDK; a sound that drags the listener in and leaves them gasping for more. Add an intense light show and an energetic stage performance and the result is a one-of-a-kind act that is not to be missed.
